Information notice pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
1. Data controller
The data controller is Stefano Scalas, sole proprietor of "Sardinia Driver di Stefano Scalas", with offices at Via Sorgono 12, 09042 Monserrato (CA), Italy.

2. Categories of data
We process the following personal data:
- Contact data voluntarily provided through the contact form or via WhatsApp / email: full name, email address, phone number, content of the request.
- Booking data: requested date of service, number of passengers, pickup and drop-off details, flight or ship number if any.
- Browsing data collected through technical cookies (see Cookie Policy).
3. Purposes and legal basis
- Reply to your request for a quote or booking (art. 6.1.b GDPR – pre-contractual measures).
- Performance of the chauffeur service if a booking is confirmed (art. 6.1.b GDPR – contract).
- Legal obligations: invoicing, accounting, tax (art. 6.1.c GDPR).
- Defence in court of a right of the controller (art. 6.1.f GDPR – legitimate interest).
4. How we process data
Data is processed with digital and paper tools, with technical and organisational measures to ensure security (HTTPS, limited access, encrypted backups). No automated decision-making or profiling takes place.
5. Recipients
Data may be shared with:
- IT providers (hosting, transactional email) acting as data processors;
- accountants and tax advisors, strictly for legal purposes;
- public authorities, when required by law.
No data is sold or shared with third parties for marketing.
6. Transfer outside the EU
Some IT providers (e.g. email) may process data outside the EU. In that case the transfer only occurs to adequate countries or under Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
7. Retention
- Quote requests: up to 24 months from contact, unless a booking follows.
- Confirmed bookings: 10 years for tax obligations.
- Technical logs: up to 12 months.
8. Your rights
At any time you can exercise the rights under articles 15–22 GDPR:
- access to your data;
- rectification and erasure;
- restriction and objection to processing;
- data portability;
- withdrawal of consent, where applicable.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).
9. Providing data
Providing the data requested in the contact form is optional, but without it we cannot reply to your request.
